The Voice On
Comms.

Squadron Leader is the command role for fleet PvP operations. You are the voice on comms that tells pilots when to push, when to break, and what to target. This cert requires both the Ace Pilot technical skills and the Supervisor organizational skills — because leading an event requires you to fight and organize simultaneously.

If you're waiting to start Supervisor until Ace Pilot is done, you're already behind. Run both tracks at the same time.

What Gets You Through

Pass

  • Teaching evaluation positive — lower-tier pilot clearly benefited
  • Shot calling trained and confirmed by Commander
  • Event walkthrough complete with Officer sign-off
  • DKP tracking and debrief process understood

Watch Out For

  • Event runs with poor organization — wrong ship assignments, missed DKP tracking, no debrief
  • Fails to communicate clearly during live fleet scenario
  • Officer does not sign off
Preparation

Before You Book The Eval

01
Teaching is the best test of your own knowledge

If you can't explain a concept clearly, revisit it before your eval. The teaching component catches people off guard.

02
Start calling shots in informal TNT sessions long before your eval

Command reps are what matter. Call shots in practice before you're formally assessed.

03
Know the Informal vs Formal event setup process cold

It is more administrative than most people expect. Arrive at the Officer walkthrough already knowing the process.
