As Good As Any
Serious PvPer.

Marine 2 Star builds on the 1 Star by adding more skill demands and deeper team tactics. The 2:1 kill ratio requirement is a real skill gate — casual improvement won't get you there.

Beyond the numbers, this cert introduces team tactics that require trust and coordination with a partner. If you pass this, we consider you as good as any serious PvPer in the game.

Certification Goal

First Real Skill Hurdle & Second Set of Team Tactics.

The member must demonstrate a 2:1 kill ratio in Arena Commander and execute flanking tactics and trap tactics with a fireteam partner.

Expected Outcome

Passing Members Can…

Member achieves 2:1 KR with 30% headshot rate in AC. Can execute pin-and-flank, open-field flanking, forced repositioning, pull-and-pop, tactical retreat, kill box baiting, and incap bait tactics.

Three Things To Know

2:1 KR + 30% Headshots

Consistent ratio across multiple games and sessions — not a single good run. Evaluator records over time.

Flank Tactics

Pin-and-flank, open-field flanking, forced repositioning. Requires communication — call your flank before you execute it.

Trap Tactics

Pull-and-pop, tactical retreat timing, kill box baiting, incap bait usage. Each category demonstrated at least once.

What Gets You Through

Pass

  • 2:1 KR sustained across evaluation sessions
  • 30% headshot rate met
  • Both flank and trap tactic categories each demonstrated successfully at least once

Watch Out For

  • KR below 2:1
  • Headshot rate below 30%
  • Fails to execute either flank or trap category after multiple attempts
Preparation

Before You Book The Eval

01
If you're not hitting 2:1 in practice, don't book yet

Book a coached session with a Marine ★ or higher first. The KR is the main gate.

02
Flank tactics require pre-call communication

Call your flank before you execute it. Silent flanks fail — the evaluator needs to hear the intent.

03
Incap bait is high-risk — practice the timing before eval

It's effective but easy to get wrong. Don't try it for the first time during your evaluation.
