The L(2) License expands your skill baseline into two critical support skills: combat fundamentals (enough to not be a liability in PvE engagements) and ship engineering basics. We also test a comm array hack.
For engineering: there is not much to it right now in T0, so we are doing a short video to watch. We expect this section to change significantly as engineering gameplay develops further.
Build on L(1) by introducing combat basics and engineering fundamentals. For combat: know how to fly defensively if attacked in a PvE pilot role. For the comm array: know how to bring one down solo. For engineering: watch the T0 primer.
Member has working knowledge of basic ship combat in a PvE context, has hacked a comm array solo (recorded), and has watched the engineering primer video.
65 kills in 20 minutes, solo, no deaths, light fighter of choice. Missile hit is an instant fail. Run on the honor system — screenshot your results screen.
Fly in, find the safe pocket where the guns can't hit you, hack the station, leave. Record yourself using OBS, Streamlabs, or GPU software. 4.0 meta: grav bike recommended due to buffed gun turrets.
Watch this video: youtu.be/C1hztUKMMEI — that's the full engineering requirement for now. T0 is limited; this will be expanded when T1+ engineering arrives.
L(3) is the most important license in the org and required for all members regardless of division. Block out a full gaming session — it covers salvage, mining, hand mining, and a Regolith run.
Honor System: The Vanduul Swarm test is run solo. No missile hits are permitted — this is a hard fail. Send a screenshot of your results screen when done.
Arena Commander. 65 kills in 20 minutes, solo, light fighter. No deaths. Missile hit = instant fail. Screenshot your results.
CombatFly in, find the safe pocket, hack the Comm Station, leave. Record the full run using OBS, Streamlabs, or GPU software. 4.0+: grav bike is now the preferred approach.
HackWatch youtu.be/C1hztUKMMEI. No additional test — watching the video is the full requirement.

Watch Out For
No missile hits — period. Screenshot your results and submit. The org trusts you to be honest.
The original ship method still works, but the buffed gun turrets make the bike safer. Practice the approach route before your eval.
It's short and counts as the full engineering requirement. Don't forget to do it before your session.
