Rune Guard is a structured, certification-based org. Every rank above Recruit is earned through evaluation. Leadership holds the same certs you do. Seniority doesn't buy authority — performance does. We run this way because it works and because it's fair.
Every rank is earned through passing a certification. No one gets a leadership position through time served alone. If they hold a rank, they passed the eval for it — same as you will.
We are an adult org. Drama, toxicity, and personal attacks are not tolerated. We play hard, compete seriously, and leave the noise outside. This is how we've stayed a functioning org.
Participation in org events earns DKP through Regolith. What you put into the org, you get back. Members who show up get access to resources members who don't show up don't.
Certifications expire every 6 months and must be renewed. This isn't punitive — it's how we make sure every member holding a rank can actually perform at that rank in the current game version.
These apply in Discord, in-game, on RSI forums, and anywhere you represent the Rune Guard tag.
Personal attacks, hate speech, targeted harassment, or discrimination of any kind results in immediate removal. No warnings, no second chances. This applies to Discord, in-game voice, and any platform where you wear the Rune Guard tag.
Griefing or deliberately sabotaging fellow members — in any game mode — is grounds for immediate removal. Competitive PvP within org-sanctioned events is the only exception.
Disagreements with leadership are handled through proper channels — not public callouts in Discord. Post in #feedback or DM leadership directly. Public drama affects everyone and is treated as a conduct violation.
When you fly with the Rune Guard tag, your conduct reflects on the org. This means following RSI community guidelines and not engaging in behavior that would embarrass the org publicly.
Do not ask leadership to skip evaluations, lower thresholds, or advance your rank outside the certification system. Rank is earned through evals — asking to bypass it is a disrespect to every member who passed theirs.
All evaluation recordings and screenshots must be your own, unedited, and accurately dated. Submitting falsified or borrowed footage for a certification is grounds for removal and permanent ban from the cert system.
Every rank is unlocked by certifications. This is the progression ladder from Recruit to the org's command structure.
Where you start. No certs completed yet. All members begin here regardless of Star Citizen experience.
Complete Rune Guard access. Everyone in this rank is a full member.
We operate similiar to a biking organization. Enlisted members may be sponsered to become Guardsmen.
You are a Recruit. Your only job is to complete L(1) → L(2) → your division entry cert. That path gets you to Guardsman and starts you toward Enlisted. Everything above that comes naturally once you're in the system. Don't overthink it — just start your first cert.
