WELCOME TO
RUNE GUARD

You're in Discord. Now here's how the org works — divisions, certifications, and your path to Enlisted rank.
Your Path to Enlisted

How New Members Rank Up.

Every new member starts as a Recruit. To reach Enlisted rank you need to complete your first certifications. Here's the sequence — it's the same for everyone regardless of division.

1

Complete L(1) — Required for Everyone

Your first certification. Turret practice in Arena Commander plus a short medical quiz. It's a guided session run by an evaluator — not a hard filter. Meet other members, get oriented, earn your first role. See what L(1) involves →

2

Complete L(2) — Required for Everyone

Expands into solo combat: a Vanduul Swarm run in Arena Commander, a comm array hack you record yourself, and a short engineering video. This is where the cert system starts to have real teeth. See what L(2) involves →

3

Declare Your Division

After L(2) your path splits. Marines pursue FPS PvP. Squadron pursues space combat PvP. Logistics specializes in PvE operations. Pick the one that matches how you want to play. Compare divisions →

4

Complete Your Division Entry Cert

Marines complete M(1). Squadron completes S(1). Logistics members continue through L(3) directly. Each entry cert confirms you're ready to operate in your division at the Enlisted level. See your cert: M(1) · S(1)

Pick Your Path

PvP or PvE?

Rune Guard runs two tracks. Combat — Marines and Squadron — is PvP. Logistics is PvE and economic operations. Both are full careers inside the org. Pick the one that matches what you log in to do.

PvP · Combat Divisions

YOU WANT TO FIGHT.

Ship fights, FPS operations, dogfighting, boarding actions. You motivation to log in is to compete against other players.

Marines — FPS & Ground Combat

Arena Commander FPS evaluations, fireteam tactics, ship boarding. Kill ratio is how you rank up.

Squadron — Space Combat

Dogfighting, fleet engagements, ACE Program kill tracking. Keybinds and decoupled flight fundamentals first.

PvE · Operations Division

YOU WANT TO BUILD.

Mining fleets, salvage ops, resource gathering. You run the economic engine that funds everything we do.

Logistics — Mining, Salvage & Ops

Run operations, manage DKP through Regolith, lead fleets. The org's income flows through this division.

L(3) Is Universal

Every member — regardless of division — must complete L(3). Logistics members specialize in it. Combat members cross it as a gate.

What To Expect

How Rune Guard Operates.

Certifications = Skill Progression

Every certification represents a step in your skill development. No shortcuts, no seniority bumps. Pass the evaluation, get the rank.

DKP Economy

Participating in events and ops earns DKP. Tracked through Regolith. What you put in, you get back out.

Scheduled Operations

Org events are organized and scheduled. Mining ops, combat scrimmages, and PvP events run on a regular cadence.

Mature Community

Zero tolerance for drama and toxicity. The org is built for adults who want to play hard without the noise.

Earned Authority Only

Leadership holds certs just like everyone else. If someone has a leadership role, they passed the same evals you will.

Recertification Every 6 Months

All certs retest every 6 months unless obviously maintained. Skills don't expire — they just get confirmed.
