You Are a Guest. Act Like It.

When you participate in Rune Guard activities as an affiliate, you are operating in our space under our rules. This isn't negotiable — it applies from the moment you join a joint session until you leave it.

All RG Rules Apply to Affiliates

Every rule that applies to Rune Guard members applies equally to affiliates during joint operations and in our Discord. There are no exceptions or reduced standards for outside players.

General Conduct

No Politics

Political discussions are not welcome in Rune Guard spaces — not in Discord, not on voice, not during sessions. This applies to affiliates equally. One warning is given; the second incident ends the relationship.

No Salt / No Drama

Good sportsmanship is a baseline expectation, not a request. Whether we're winning or losing, you carry yourself with composure. Complaints, tilting, and emotional outbursts during sessions reflect poorly on your org and will end your participation.

No Griefing

During joint ops, affiliates are expected to follow the same no-griefing standards as our members. Pad ramming, harassment, and stream sniping are not acceptable from anyone operating under or alongside our banner.

No Exploiting or Cheating

Zero tolerance. This applies universally. Using exploits or cheats during joint operations is immediate grounds for termination of the affiliate relationship — no second chances.

Voice Communications

If you are in Rune Guard voice channels during a joint op, you follow our comms discipline:

  • Use push-to-talk (PTT) if you have background noise — TV, others in the room, eating
  • Keep open-mic transmissions minimal and purposeful
  • Combat comms take priority — casual conversation yields to tactical callouts
  • "BREAK BREAK" — When you hear this, stop transmitting immediately. No exceptions. This is an emergency callout for mission-critical information only
  • Don't talk over others. Wait for a gap
  • No emotional outbursts, positive or negative
Discord Conduct

Affiliate Discord access is limited to specific channels. While in those channels:

  • Follow all channel rules as posted
  • No unsolicited recruitment for your own org in our channels
  • No sharing links, promotions, or content that hasn't been cleared with leadership
  • Treat all members with the same respect you'd expect in your own community
  • Age standard applies — this is a 21+ community (18+ for approved exceptions)

Violations and Consequences

Rule violations by affiliates are handled at leadership's discretion. Minor issues are addressed through the Ambassador. Serious violations — exploiting, harassment, repeated conduct issues — end the affiliate relationship immediately with no appeal process.
